Phantom El Camino Hot Rod (1957)

This unique Chevy car-truck hybrid embodies the spirit of the phantom movement, while its lowered stance, bad boy attitude, and bright magenta paint color scream “hot rod” and demand that it be noticed.

From the nosed and decked body, to the large diameter rims with low profile rubber and the four-wheel vented disk brakes, everything has been executed to perfection.

Prepare for your jaw to drop when you lift open the hood. The engine bay is packed with a small block V-8 with dual carbs on a high-rise manifold. An electric radiator fan keeps things cool, dual-circuit power brakes provide the “whoa” to match the “go,” and a chromed power steering pump and valve covers provide some tasty eye candy.
